INVESTMENT CASTINGS
Investment Casting. Often called lost wax casting, is regarded as a precision casting process to fabricate near-net shaped metal parts poured from almost any alloy including: stainless steel, aluminum, brass, bronze and copper.

SAND CASTINGS
Sand Combined with a suitable binder can be packed or rammed rigidly about a pattern. When the pattern is removed, a cavity corresponding to the shape of the part remains.

DIE CASTINGS
The die casting die or mold is a closed vessel in to which molten metal is injected under high pressure & temperature, then rapidly cooled until the solidified part is sufficiently rigid to permit ejection from the mold, usually within 15 to 25 seconds.

PLASTER MOLD CASTINGS
Briefly stated this is a method of producing aluminum or zinc
Casting by pouring liquid metal into plaster (gypsum) molds.

PERMANENT MOLD CASTING
Permanent mold castings, while not as flexible as sand castings in allowing the use of different patterns (different part designs), lower the cost of producing a part. At a production run of 1000 or more parts, permanent mold castings produce a lower piece cost part.

GRAPHITE MOLD CASTING
The graphite permanent mold casting process combines the low cost of machinable graphite molds with a high strength zinc-aluminum alloy ( ZA-12 ) to provide an economical alternative to other casting processes in annual volumes of 500-15,000 pieces per year.
