a number of domestic casting sources that have an
extensive knowledge of the materials that will best fit your needs.
When appropriate, we will guide you through the process of using our overseas
manufacturing sources.
We are familiar with the processes, certifications and standards required for
each casting process, and thus can analyze your project and stay with you until
completion.
"Casting" is a manufacturing process by which a molten material such as metal or
plastic is introduced into a mold, allowed to solidify within the mold, and then
ejected or broken out to make a fabricated part. Casting is used for making
parts of complex shape that would be difficult or uneconomical to make by other
methods (such as cutting from solid material).
From prototype to production quantities, Palmer Associates will source your components in a timely manner. We are capable of receiving your design in electronic files, i.e.: IGS, STL, PDF or DWG format.
